Bristol Road Bristol Road

Client: Croudace Homes

Works: Traditional timber frame 22 bedroom nursing home and 2 units

Value: £108000

Duration: 12 weeks

Sector: Nursing Homes

The project scope was the design, manufacture and erection of a 22 bedroom residential nursing home and two adjacent properties in St.Leonards-on-Sea for Croudace Homes. On a site stretched across a main road, the issue of site access was intrinsic to the planning of the project, as two units had to be built last to ensure access to site for the remainder of the project. Set in a residential area, the informing and close liaison with local residents was an important part of the project, due to the scale of site traffic and the frequent deliveries packed into a tight schedule.
